The crushing in the Mix-Shredder DMS is effected by a shredder and two screw conveyors. The screw conveyors continuously pull the material in and ensure a permanent fedding of the shredder. A disturbance-free run is guaranteed by the hydraulic drive of the screw, which can be switched from normal to reverse gear, and a security against foreign matters is given.
The feeding of the mobile MIX-Shredder can be done manually, by front loader, by wheel loader or by an crane with gripper. For single-person-operation the gripper crane is recommended. The crane is mounted on the truck or as special equipment fixed to the Mix-Shredder DMS.
The operator can operate and control the working process from the centrally situated control desk.
Also straw, liquid manure and other compost preparation additives like starter, carbamides or lime can be mixed evenly to the precompost. The conveyor-screw guarantees a continuous shifting.
Depending on the material, the Mix-Shredder DMS processes up to 40 m³ raw material in one run down to a quanity of about 5 m³ composting material. Cuttings from trees, bushes, grass as well as leaves, shredded and mixed, give an ideal material for later composting.
The raw material which can be composted is conveyed easily and oxygen permeable onto compost heaps of up to 1.8 m height by means of a conveyor belt. A loading onto a truck or into a container is also possible.
In order to produce an excellently ripe compost, the compost heaps must be shifted at regular intervals. The Mix-Shredder is extremly suitable for this, whereby different material can also be mixed.
The relatively low speed of the conveyor-screw provides for small noise pollution and smaller wear.

The Mix-Shredder DMS can be supplied as slow-running unit with overrunning brake (25 km/h), as quick-running unit with air-pressure brake unit (80 km/h), with own drive motor and with mounted gripping crane. A direct mounting on the truck with or without quick-change-frame is also possible.
